Several years ago the Holy Spirit instructed me to hold a meeting at the beginning of the year to prepare our church spiritually for the coming year. The last three years have been some of the most challenging years of my life as well as for others in many areas. However, I am not discouraged. Rather, I am encouraged as I continue to listen to the Holy Spirit and read the Bible. God never promised us that we would live without adversity. Instead, the Bible emphasizes from Genesis to Revelation that there will be challenges while we are on the earth.

Proverbs 34:19 states, “Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all.” Although many within the Body of Christ have experienced afflictions, recently, I have sensed the Holy Spirit saying, “Come on through! Come on through!” Quitting is not an option and victory is yours!
